NOTICE TO CLIENTS

Rate Restoration for Import shipments from
South East Asia / South West Asia to Australia

We have been advised by the carriers servicing the trade ex Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and South Asia (Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Bangladesh) an implementation of a Rate Restoration Programme yet to be confirmed by all carriers concerned.

Effective 1st April, 2012 a rate restoration programme of USD200 per TEU covering shipments from Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and South Asia (Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Bangladesh) to Australia.

The increase will apply to all cargo with a “Shipped On-board” Bill of Lading date on or after the 1st April 2012.

The policy of SOS being when such increases occur that they are passed on to our clients at cost. Please take note for all future costings and budgeting purposes.
