Rate Restoration for import shipments from South East Asia / South West Asia to Australia.

We have been advised by the carriers servicing the Trade ex South East Asia / South West Asia to Australia an implementation of a Rate Restoration Programme.

Tariff rates and service contracts will be increased by the following amounts, effective July 1st, 2012 (B/L Date)to all import cargo from Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and South Asia (Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Bangladesh) to Australia.

US$300/TEU

The policy of SOS being when such increases occur they are passed on to our clients at cost. Please take note for all future costings and budgeting purposes.
