APRIL BAF/BUC ANNOUNCEMENT FROM EUROPE

We have been advised by the carriers servicing the Trade Ex Europe of the April BAF/BUC. Please be advised effective from 1st April 2012, Shipping Lines have announced a new level of Bunker Adjustment Factor to be applied as follows:

BAF/BUC

HAPAG LLOYD - USD 966 per TEU

NEMO Direct Service - USD 869 per TEU (increase by USD 24.00 per TEU)

MSC Direct Service - USD 920 per TEU (increase by USD 20.00 per TEU)

TRANSHIPMENT Service – USD 869 per TEU (increase by USD 24.00 per TEU)

The policy of SOS being when such increases occur they are passed on to our clients at cost. Please take note for all future costings and budgeting purposes.
