Vessel Update YM Portland V092S - Update 3 (30/07/2018)

Dear Customers,

Further to our notification re the YM Portland Vessel Update (23/07). The YM Portland anchored at Port Moresby 25th July to carry out necessary repairs on the engine.
 
The technicians have reviewed the engine and unfortunately the parts required will not arrive until approximately 2nd August.
 
Therefore, the YM Portland is not anticipated to arrive into Australia prior to 5th August.
 
At present the vessel ETA currently showing in 1-Stop into Melbourne is the 8th August and can only be used as a guide and as an estimate at this stage until the engine has been repaired and the vessel sets sail.

As previously notified If you have any shipments booked with SOS or with alternative Freight Forwarders on the above mentioned vessel we strongly suggest that with the vessel delay you plan accordingly and reschedule your delivery windows as the ETA may change or blow out.

We will update you further once more information comes to hand and apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused you which is unfortunately beyond all of our control.
