Vessel Update YM Portland V092S (20/07/2018)

Dear Customers,

We have been advised by the Carrier YML (Yang Ming (Australia) Pty. Ltd)) that one of their vessels currently steaming to Australia the YM Portland V092S has reported engine difficulties in transit which will delay the vessels arrival into Australia.

Please refer to the following notification received from YML:

 

DEAR VALUED CUSTOMER
 
We have been advised by the Master that unfortunately the YM Portland has encountered engine difficulty and hence will be delayed arriving into Australia.  We are currently investigating options available to have the engine repaired. 
 
We will provide further details regarding her schedule once known.

The YM PORTLAND V092S original ETA into Melbourne was expected on the 22nd July and has now been pushed out to out to the 24th July @ 2200 hrs still to be confirmed.  If you have any shipments booked with SOS or with alternative Forwarders on the above mentioned vessel we strongly suggest that with the vessel delay you plan accordingly and reschedule your delivery windows as the ETA may change or blow out.

We will update you further once more information comes to hand and apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused you which is unfortunately beyond all of our control.
