Italy Closed For Summer (10/07/2018)

As Melbourne settles into Winter ... Italy and Europe Summer starts to heat up as a large percentage of Italians go on Holidays. Even though some Italian manufacturers may remain open with a skeleton staff most of the Italian Trucking Companies will be closed -  which means any last minute pick up's will be a big problem.

We have been advised by our Italian Associates db Trans srl not to get caught out this year. During the END OF JULY to EARLY AUGUST most Italian Manufactures will close their factories for the Summer break.

This also means that from mid July, it will be PEAK SEASON. The Shipping Lines and the Airlines servicing the trade will be fully booked during this time and therefore space will be at a premium as the Italian Manufacturers shut down and want to book and move their orders before their closure.

So get onto your Mopeds and start planning as the last LCL sailings before the Italian Summer Holidays are as follows into Melbourne. Other ports can be provided upon request.

When placing your orders in Italy, please advise by return full purchase order details along with full contact and address of your shipper/supplier in Italy, so we can track and monitor your shipment accordingly to sosorders@sosconsultants.com.au.

Please also instruct your shippers to book your shipments Via our Italian Associates as follows -
