Please note that we have been advised by vessel operator Yang Ming Line that the above vessel encountered heavy weather off NSW coast on 01/06/2018 whilst en-route to Sydney.

As a result of this weather, we understand that approximately 83 x containers have been
lost overboard. We, at this stage, cannot confirm if any SOS containers booked and shipped onboard have been involved, and we await additional details from Yang Ming.

The vessel is currently safe and under control and we have been advised by vessel operator Yang Ming Line that vessel will berth 06/06/18 0600hrs at DP World Terminal SYDNEY.

From there a decision will be made on feasibility of discharging containers from the vessel.

We will provide you with an updated schedule information as the vessel has berthed and discharged.

Please also be informed that there are containers lost overboard and damages sustained by containers. We will contact all customers concerned locally, once we have all the necessary details at hand.

At this time we strongly recommend to check your Marine Insurance is up to date and advise your Insurance Company of the above situation if you have a shipment on board the YM EFFICIENCY V111.

We regret the inconvenience that this incident may cause.
