Priority: Urgent
Notification Date: 09/05/2018 00:00

DP World has ceased operations and will update later today regarding any remedial action required.
We have also received advice that Patrick Stevedores have also shut their terminal this morning for industrial action.
We have not had any advice from VICT at this stage.
The above will of course will hamper our delivery schedules planned for today, tomorrow and most likely Friday as our carriers will have a back-log of containers to remove from both terminals for delivery.
Exports will also be affected today, with those export scheduled to go into either terminal, now having to transit via our holding yard pending resolution, which unfortunately will incur additional charges.
In consultation with our carriers and wharf transport providers they will continue to push through their deliveries and collections as quickly as possible, but delays will be inevitable for some containers.
Please understand that this is out of all our control.
SOS and our carriers will endeavour to do our best under the circumstances and appreciate your patience in regards to the above Industrial action.
We thank you for your patience and understanding this matter and will update you further on the situation once we have more details from the stevedores.
In the interim please contact your SOS representative at any time for any further information and assistance
